'Lickle Dread' charged with stealing from school's farm
Garfield Griffiths, otherwise call 'Lickle Dread', was arrested and charged after he allegedly stole several bunches of plantains and bananas from the Guy's Hill High School farm in St Catherine.
It is reported that about 1:30 a.m. on September 17, residents from the Guy's Hill community observed strange movement on the high school's farm and alerted the police.
'Lickle Dread' was later held with nine bunches of plantains and three bunches of bananas valued about $40,000. He was charged with praedial larceny
He is scheduled to appeared in the St Catherine Parish Court on Tuesday.
